Ramble Worldwide Outdoor Trust supports

Mind Over Mountains

We are delighted to have agreed a three-year partnership with the charity Mind Over Mountains (MOM) which will see hundreds more disadvantaged people accessing the outdoors through well-being walks and retreats courtesy of bursary funding from our Trust.

MOM provides professional mental health, coaching and counselling as an integral part of its one-day hill walks and weekend retreats. We share the ambition of making the outdoors more accessible for more people from all communities, and through our Trust are delighted to support MOM.

“The people on the walk were very friendly and easy to talk to and we felt safe sharing our thoughts. We also loved the mindfulness exercises and found them very beneficial in the beautiful Lake District.

Thank you ”

Jeff Sissons, Trust Chair, said: “Our two organisations have similar values and it became clear as we talked that a collaboration of some kind would amplify both our efforts”.

All the information that potential bursary recipients need to make an application can be found on the Mind over Mountains website.
