If you have eight or more people, you can book any of our 300+ tried-and-tested itineraries as a fully private group. That means your own expert guide, your own pace, and no one else joining the party. Our dedicated Groups Team, led by Cindy, takes care of everything from first enquiry to final day, so you can focus on looking forward to the adventure.

This initiative is dear to our hearts as it provides direct financial support to UK walking clubs and organisations. If you sign up for the scheme, your group will receive a donation every time you or one of your members books a holiday with us.
Our beautiful country house on the shores of Buttermere is available to hire on an exclusive use, fully catered basis for groups of the right size. Available for stays of 3, 4 or 7 nights at various points throughout the year, Hassness House has welcomed families, friend groups, walking clubs and even wedding parties through its doors.

Mel and the team handle everything from that point: gathering all the information you need, keeping all your group members informed at key stages, and making sure the whole process feels straightforward rather than stressful.
You simply tell us where you want to go and roughly when, and we will take care of the rest.
Your group travels entirely alone. A private group holiday is separate from our standard small-group departures. You have your own dedicated guide and you will not be joined by any other travellers at any point.
This is one of the most common concerns groups have, and it is entirely manageable. Many of our itineraries offer different grades of walking on the same trip, meaning stronger walkers can take a more challenging route while others enjoy a gentler option, before the group comes together again. Every single one of our holidays is available to book as a private group. That includes all itineraries across our four Collections, Classic, Adagio, Discover, and Self-Guided, in every destination we operate. You have complete freedom of choice.
Not with us. Once you get in touch, Mel takes the lead. She and the team handle the itinerary, logistics and communication, keeping everyone on track so you do not have to. Most group organisers tell us the experience is far smoother than they expected.
Yes. All private groups of eight or more receive a 5% discount as standard. There are no credit card fees, no single room supplements on selected tours, and full financial protection through ATOL, ABTA, and AITO.
There are. Once your first group holiday is confirmed, you will receive a £50 Ramble Worldwide travel voucher to use on a future holiday. Book a second group and you will receive a £75 voucher, and a third earns you £100. It is a small thank you for the effort that goes into pulling a group together.
