Overview

Holiday Highlights

  • Experience delicious food, superior customer service and fine comfort on board a Fred. Olsen ship.
  • Relax onboard during our days at sea, enjoy a beverage at the bar, maybe take a swim in the pool or perhaps treat yourself to a relaxing sauna.
  • A local guide will take you on a journey through Tangier.

Madeira, Morocco and mainland Portugal, a mixture of natural beauty, exotic landscapes and thousands of years of culture and history, this cruise is a unique way to explore six Atlantic cities!

Beautiful Funchal, with its dramatic mountainous lush green backdrop, is our first stop on this exotic cruise. Take to the hills above Funchal for a spectacular walk with sensational views of the island before free time to explore Funchal afterwards.

Arrive in exotic Morocco, home to an array of colours, aromas and sounds. Morocco is an enticing destination for walkers, thanks to its incredible mountain ranges, bustling cities and welcoming culture. Your cruise will take you along the western coast of Morocco, stopping in sunny Agadir, known for 300 days of sunshine a year, it is one of the sunniest parts of Morocco.

Next stop is Casablanca, one of Morocco's largest cities, where a local guide will help you to explore this mesmerising city and its culture. Dock here overnight before exploring Rabat, the capital of Morocco and a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site, definitely worth exploring!

Finish your discovery of Morocco in Tangier, located on the northern tip of Morocco. Its blue and white streets are picturesque and Tangier’s vibrant lifestyle is a perfect blend of tradition and contemporary!

Lisbon is your next stop, where you wander its colourful pastel coloured streets with a local guide. Discover its history and enjoy its present day vibrancy as we explore the winding streets, marvel at the scenic miradouros and visit the magnificent monuments.

Your final stop is Leixoes, where you take the metro or transport to Porto, the second largest city in Portugal and a UNESCO world heritage city. It is famous for its production of Port wine, its medieval historical centre, its ancient buildings and its narrow cobbled streets with rooftop terrace bars. A local guide will show you the sights, including the beautiful Sao Bento Station, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a National Monument of Portugal, famed for its historic Portuguese tiles.

One of the unique things about a cruise is that it allows us to discover extraordinary remote places that you would not usually be able to visit. In some ports of call we follow captivating walking trails and in some we will spend time with local guides, furthering our knowledge of history and culture during our exploration ashore. There will be free time in each port for you to explore at leisure.
