You don’t need to be an experienced walker, or able to cover long distances, to enjoy our collection of tours: on our gentle grade walking tours, typical daily walks cover around just 3 miles with gentle 50m ascents and descents, following good paths and tracks at a relaxed pace spread comfortably throughout the day.

Our Gentle walking holidays (Grade 1) focus on quality time, not finishing times and are easier than our Leisurely grade walking holidays. Itineraries in this category will look a little like meandering through the fragrant Gardens of the Channel Islands, savouring the flavours of Bologna as you wander its cobbled streets and Byzantine treasures, or uncovering hidden gems along the serene coastline of the Eastern Algarve. In other words, expect relaxed routes and enriching moments at every turn.
