Become Our Business Change & Process Improvement Manager

We are looking for a Business Change & Process Improvement Manager to join Ramble Worldwide

Job purpose (Why does my role exist? What value does my role bring?) 

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Business Change and Process Manager to lead the development and ongoing improvement of our Systems, Tech Capability and Business Efficiency. The role will optimise business processes, manage technical projects, and guide a skilled systems team. This role is pivotal in aligning technology systems with organisational goals while ensuring smooth operations and scalability. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving change through new technology, enhancing productivity and continuous improvement to aid business growth, performance and overall customer experience.

Reports to Operations Director.

Location: Lemsford Mill, Lemsford Village, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City AL8 7TR (HYBRID)


Key accountabilities (What do I need to deliver/achieve to be effective in this role?)

Systems  

  • Drive new innovations and challenge current processes, to deliver best in class systems, automation and processes.

  • Working closely with Technology Suppliers to translate the business needs, prioritising system requirements and driving enhancements to agreed timeframes and budgets. 

  • Drive AI enhancements and be ahead of the curve on using technology to drive customer success.

  • Identifying pain points across the business, instigating improvements that help maximise sales and profitability.

  • Inspire the team, through positive leadership, including direct reports of one in house developer and various external contractors. Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. 

  • Leading the vendor relationships to continue to develop and deliver innovation that aids the growth vision of the business. Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs), working with them to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop a 3 year systems roadmap, influencing the decision making and championing change.

  • Deliver management of and effective use of Reservations, ticketing and reporting systems.


Business Process Management 

  • Evaluate existing business workflows and identify opportunities for technology-driven optimisation.

  • Oversee the mapping of key business processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • Work with the management & SLT to ensure key business procedures are documented via Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to deliver operational excellence.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align systems with evolving business needs.

  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance. 

 

Project Management 

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT system projects. 

  • Define project scopes, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies. 

  • Manage cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver outcomes on time and within budget. 

 

Additional responsibilities 

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with IT standards and regulations. 

 

Skills needed 

  • Strong understanding of Travel Reservations Platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, which enables them to communicate with all, give clear instructions, and provide great customer service. 

  • This position requires analytical skills and the ability to interpret information from numerous sources to prepare specifications and reports.  

  • Problem solver with a solution driven mindset. 

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration and IT leadership roles. 

  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. 

  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
