Each of our tours vary in difficulty, following our grading system from 1 to 8. The Mountains of Saudi Arabia tour is leisurely, with walks of 2.5 to 3 hours. The Highlights tour is moderate, suitable for those comfortable with a few hours on varied terrain. The Deserts of Saudi Arabia tour is challenging (Grade 6), featuring full-day treks of up to 13 kilometres over 6 to 7 hours. What walking conditions should I expect in the desert? Our Deserts of Saudi Arabia tour is rated Grade 6, making it challenging. You can expect a more demanding terrain in the desert, with average walk lengths approximately 6 miles (however this can vary from 3 to 10 miles on a sightseeing day). Weather conditions will be very hot at times, so please ensure you maintain adequate hydration throughout the tour.
Is camping under the stars included in a trip to Saudi Arabia?
