Two blissful weeks in the Dolomites filled with some of the best natural scenery Italy has to offer.
What does this mean?
Overview
Did you think the Alps were only for hardy hikers? Well, now you can enjoy perhaps the most spectacular mountain range in Europe at a leisurely pace. This two week walking holiday is a combination of our one-week holidays ‘The Delightful Dolomites’ and ‘Dobbiaco and the Tre Cime’.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks and pristine lakes, panoramic views of breathtaking mountain scenery make this trip perfect for anyone looking to soothe their mind with the beauty of nature.
Start your holiday in La Villa, an attractive, small town, surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage Sites and national parks. The area is also known for its "Viles”, the most ancient and typical human settlements in Val Badia and the first examples of the Alpine hut. There is a mix of cultures here; German and Italian are spoken in equal measure (the area was Austrian and therefore German-speaking until it was ceded to Italy). You may also hear Ladino spoken; a language closely related to Romansch spoken in areas of Switzerland. It is an uncommon but living language concentrated around Corvara and La Villa.
Your second week is based in Dobbiaco, gateway to the Italian Dolomites, nestled amongst glorious natural parks. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo, or the Three Peaks, are the iconic trio of rock formations that are one of the most famous sights, not only in South Tyrol but in all of Italy. The Tre Cime comprises the Cima Grande, the Cima Occidentale and the Cima Piccola. They are some of the most famous landmarks of the Dolomites and are more than deserving of their status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alpine meadows, lush green forests and the sun-drenched high plateaus of the impressive Tre Cime di Laverdo make the Pusteria Valley in South Tyrol a popular attraction for nature lovers and hikers from all around the world.

Adelboden is a Swiss delight, set at the foot of the dramatic Wildstrubel and surrounded by the Bernese Oberland Alps. It is the perfect setting for an unforgettable summer venture – with remarkable views of the magical alps, towering waterfalls, and easy access to a network of cable cars to some superb high level mountain walking.
